RAC to Oi! band formed in September 2001 originally from two members of the skinband Skinful. The original line-up was Gav on vocals, Al on guitar, Steve on bass and Rob on drums.
In early 2002 a line-up re-shuffle saw Al replace Rob on drums and Will came in on guitar. They played their first gig in March 2002 at the Violent Storm Memorial concert in Wales.
They changed their name to Albion in August 2002 and then to Defiance in 2003.
